Ministry Opportunities
We can always use your help in any ministry if the Lord has called you to serve there. This page is for specific needs in the church. If you have other talents that God has given you, please contact the office to see how to get involved. Please always check back to see if there is a need in the church that God may want you to fill. Pray hard about where the Lord will use you and speak with the contact person of the ministry that is listed below with each need if you feel that God is calling you to serve.
Leadership and Teaching
We are looking for a couple of leadership positions including, a Small Group/Sunday School Lead and a Ministries Lead. We are also looking to start a Young Married Couples class and a Singles class. If God has called you to teach in one of these areas, please let Pastor Joey know through the Staff Contact page.

Music Ministry Needs
Instrumentalists to accompany the worship program at Oakdale Baptist Church.
Sound and Video Technicians - If you are willing to be trained, we will be glad to help. This opportunity will be for Sunday mornings. Sound technicians would also be asked to join rehearsal on Sunday mornings from 9:30am for a 20 minute rundown.

Upstream Nursery
Nursery Volunteers needed to minister to the 0-2 age range. We are working now to get this on a 12 week rotation so that you need only volunteer once a quarter.
Worship Leader is also needed who serves as a back-up to our nursery rooms. The service opportunity would be to fill in if help is needed the Sunday you are on schedule or if a nursery volunteer cannot make it to church that week.

Upstream Kids
If you are interested in helping with the Upstream Kid's Worship Service at 11am on Sunday mornings, we would love to help get you involved. This is also on a rotation basis.

Welcomeness Ministry
If you are interested in helping to welcome visitors to Oakdale Baptist Church, this is the ministry for you! From shaking hands, to directing people to the right path or even pointing visitors to the best parking spot, this is a great way to use the gifts that God has given you.
